Not only do I love meeting parents, but I love getting to pray for their baby's safe delivery and wait with them for the birth! Baby Opal was such a delight in the studio! I offer studio newborn sessions in my studio in downtown Harrisonburg! My studio is well stocked with everything you need for your session! From dresses for mom to wraps, bonnets, bowls and baskets for baby! I would love to hear from you and help make your hopes and dreams for this session become a reality! My priorities during portrait sessions are the care and safety for your baby and making an easy, relaxed session for mom and dad that results in gorgeous and timeless portraits.

Newborn sessions are traditionally scheduled between 5-14 days of baby's life but I am flexible and happy to work with you no matter how many days old your little one is. When you are ready to schedule your session, we will discuss potential dates that work best for you.
A signed contract and paid session fee are required to secure your date. The session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer as well as access to styling services and client closet pieces. All digital images, prints, and wall art are sold separately.

This is where the fun begins! It is my joy to come alongside you and help with styling and wardrobe so that you (and your family) look and feel beautiful! I offer my clients access to an online styling service as well as access to my Client Closet dresses (for women) and accessories (for children). For newborns, I have an assortment of wraps, bonnets, tiebacks/headbands, bowls and baskets. My goal is to help you all along the way to make this as EASY and STRESS FREE for you as possible!

Yay!! We made it! Portrait day is my favorite! We meet at my studio and I will walk you through the session. Newborn sessions typically last between 2-3 hours as we leave plenty of time for feeding and diaper changes. You won't be rushed at all and we will allow your little one to be relaxed and peaceful during the session.
If you have older children as well, I have a variety of "tricks" to help keep their attention and to help all of my clients (young and old) happy and our sessions feeling relaxed and natural. Sessions will include a mixture of traditional poses as well as candid lifestyle moments.
4. Portrait day!!
Within 3 weeks, you will receive your private edited gallery to preview and select which Portrait Package you would like to purchase. Prints and canvases are also available for purchase.
I want all of my clients to walk away with beautiful tangible products that they can put on their walls, which is why I include prints or prints credits in most of my packages. So often, digital images just sit on our computers/devices and we don't take that next step of printing them out. I want to break that habit and make sure my clients SEE their beautiful portraits in their homes. I'm happy to help you choose wall art that best fits your home!

Investment begins at $400
To secure your newborn session, a $400 session fee and a signed contract are required. The session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer as well as access to styling services and client closet pieces. All digital images, prints, and wall art are sold separately.
