Over 12 years ago, back when we were in college, Lindsey and I were in a Bible study together. That was my very first Bible study and I was so nervous to lead but God filled that group with some of the most amazing and gracious girls!!
Meet Teddy! This precious little man is blessed to have 6 older siblings (and a mama and daddy of course) who love him to pieces!! He was so cuddly and sweet during his portrait session and seriously has the softest skin I’ve ever felt!! I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him and capturing his handsome little face!!!
Meet precious baby Adrian!! This handsome little man was a delight to photograph and it didn’t hurt that God provided such an uncharacteristically warm day for our session! I never could have predicted taking pictures of a newborn outside in February in Virginia!!
Ive said it before and I’ll say it again! Getting to meet a fresh little baby, just days old, is one of the best things this side of Heaven! To witness a mama carrying her little one in her belly and then getting to meet him/her… so amazing! Children certainly are a gift from the Lord!

This portrait session reminded me of just how much love to photograph families! Watching little Luella’s face light up as she talked, ran around and held her baby brother (not while running around) are exactly what I love about little ones! God says that children are a blessing and I couldn’t agree more!…
