Every year, they curate a selection of events designed to bring together the Shenandoah Valley community and support local businesses and creators. Walking in a Winter Wonderland consists of a beautiful half-mile walking trail lined with exquisite light displays. From festive wintery characters and icons to sparkling snowflakes and glittering ornaments, this spectacle is wondrous for guests of all ages! Hundreds of thousands of Christmas lights create something truly magical and special for the holiday season. You’ll love meandering through the light displays, especially the computer-controlled one coordinated with exciting holiday music.
Throughout the event are several other special holiday celebrations, like the chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus! Little ones can share their holiday wish lists while grown-ups snap priceless photos. And speaking of photos, several specially designated photo opportunities are perfect for a cozy family selfie along the trail!
Sunday nights are dog-friendly for leashed furry friends, so bring them along to join the festivities!

This perk gives you 2 hours of event time in an enclosed, heated tent, early access before the general public, and 50 event tickets. Each tent has comfortable furniture for mingling, board games, or writing last-minute letters to Santa.
It’s in the middle of the show, so you’ll be surrounded by the magic of lights and music throughout your celebration. There’s also a table for food; you have full permission to bring in any outside food. Crockpots are welcome, too, so consider bringing a warming homemade chili or soup or a batch of homemade spiced warm cider or hot chocolate!
