Specializing in low intervention birth. Jefferson Obstetrics + Gynecology is proud to offer comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services, as well as in-office procedures. Believing gynecological care is key to a woman’s optimal health, the practice provides care from adolescence through adulthood and includes services like well-woman care visits, breast exams, pelvic exams, breast cancer screenings, pelvic cancer screenings, minimally invasive surgery such as myomectomy, hysterectomy, and endometriosis resections, mammography, STI testing, bone density referrals, pap smears, infertility treatments, and birth control. Their in-office surgeries offered include Novasure endometrial ablation, hysteroscopy, D&C, labiaplasty, and D&E.
Jefferson OBGYN strives to be very thorough and proud of their obstetrics services. They walk you through each step and milestone of pregnancy. At your first appointment after your positive pregnancy test at around 6-10 weeks, you’ll consult with the doctor and be called beforehand for your medical history. You’ll also receive an estimated due date, discuss genetic testing, have prenatal blood work drawn, receive a physical exam, and review any current medications. You will have regular appointments throughout all three trimesters with testing and screening, like gestational diabetes testing, done regularly to ensure optimal health and baby growth! The practice also offers endless resources to utilize throughout your pregnancy and during postpartum to stay informed and confident.
