About Liberty St. Mercantile
Liberty St. Mercantile opened in October 2023 and offers permanent retail shops as well as kiosk vendors that change every month. The center is located in a converted 1939 warehouse. The main floor features local shops, the carriage house features a wine bar, and the upper level is an open and airy event space. With so many options, you can spend the day shopping and drinking without ever leaving the cozy building!
Asdelia Mae
Asdelia Mae is a specialty children’s shop that offers hand-picked styles made from high-quality fabrics. Your family will have tons of lovely styles ready to hold up to all of your child’s adventures!
Root Stock Wine Bar
Located in the connected carriage house, the Root Stock Wine Bar is the only wine bar in downtown Harrisonburg. The wine bar doesn’t have a kitchen but rather offers snacks made by local chefs. They have a tasting room as well as a wine shop.
withSimplicity
withSimplicity is a skincare shop that offers ethically produced, clean beauty products. You can buy cleansers, toners, moisturizers, bath bombs, makeup, and more.
Chestnut Ridge Coffee Roasters

Liberty Street Loft
The Liberty Street Loft is the event space located on the upper level of Liberty St. Mercantile. The space is now accepting reservations for holiday parties, giving Harrisonburg locals the chance to preview this stunning space for the first time. Host your party surrounded by moody colors illuminated by modern lighting. The space plans on hosting weddings, events, parties, and performances.
