Valley Jump Park is the Shenandoah Valley’s first trampoline park, with over 7,000 square feet of trampolines alone! It’s the perfect place for burning off a little extra energy (especially if you’ve been feeling cooped up inside) and great for any kids who may take to bouncing off the walls. You can grab a snack at the snack bar, practice dunking a basketball, and just bounce around to your heart’s content! It’s also a fabulous spot for a rockin’ birthday party!
Massanutten WaterPark is full of thrills and aquatic adventures for guests of all ages and sizes! Kids can explore the interactive Massanutten Meltdown, a giant water-powered playhouse, or enjoy one of their speedy, slippery water slides! Their lazy river floats are perfect for a little extra relaxation, and anyone looking to learn how to surf can visit the FlowRider Endless Wave! The best part? The water remains heated to a comfortable 84 degrees Fahrenheit in this indoor activity in Harrisonburg, VA!
The Explore More Discovery Museum provides plenty of hands-on, interactive learning! Their exhibits will allow your little ones to explore the world around them in a safe environment while exercising their imagination and making many new memories! Whether your kid takes an interest in medicine, cooking, STEM, art, drama, animals, or so much more, they’ll love getting the chance to experience EMDM over and over again!
Elevation Sports has an indoor facility in the Valley Mall where you can enjoy walk-in Pay & Play anytime! They offer a variety of indoor adventure sports like Bubble Soccer (a game of soccer where every player is wrapped in a giant inflatable bubble), Combat Archery (think laser tag or paintball but with foam-tipped arrows), and Nerf Wars (think laser tag or paintball, but with…nerf guns.) It serves as a big hit with various fun and innovative ways to get moving and flex your competitive muscles, particularly with older kids!
The John C. Wells Planetarium at James Madison University allows you and your little ones to get a close-up look at the universe around us. With a spectacular high-quality screen and the latest planetarium technologies, taking in a show here may be unlike anything else you’ve ever experienced. On Saturdays, their family shows for young children (ages 4 – 8) are perfect for sitting back and relaxing while you take a show that will not only teach you but also entertain you.
