The Education Department allows you to learn all about the art of teaching while pursuing the necessary licensure to get in the classroom. You can get initial licensure, sign up for the Bachelor’s and M.A.T. degrees, go for Graduate Advanced Licensure, or pursue Graduate Non-Licensure. Through this JMU graduate program, you’ll become qualified to teach all levels and abilities through secondary education concentrations, special education general concentrations, school counselor education, and more.
The Health and Behavioral Studies Program offers a long list of programs such as Nursing (M.S.N.) with different concentrations and options, Audiology (Au.D.), Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Kinesiology (M.S.), Occupational Therapy (M.O.P.), and School Counseling or Psychology.
