One sunny evening in November, I got to walk around Lake Shenandoah with the Nichols family.  We met through the homeschool co-op that our children go to and I was so pleased when Cindy asked me to take pictures of their family!  These kids…

This beautiful family reminded me of why I love little boys!  Their photo session was full of energy and fun!  Logan was so happy just running around being chased by his mom and dad but he also did a great job smiling and posing for my camera!  Enjoy these pictures!

It is my privilege to introduce you to the beautiful Zoe Jane!  She is such a loved and prayed for little girl and she was definitely one of my most cooperative clients yet!  (she pretty much slept the entire session)  God’s gift of new life is certainly one of the most amazing things to witness!  Enjoy!

Welcome Baby Zoe!

Ooooooh what a great time I had on this photoshoot!!  We have known Kurt and Shelly for a number of years so, when Shelly asked me to do their portraits, I got excited!  We have such respect for them!  We began our time together at JMU (go Dukes!) and then headed over to Crossroads Heritage Center to take in some amazing views of the city.

Meet the Smith family!  They have 5 beautiful children, a gorgeous home, a bamboo patch in their yard (so cool!!!), and CHICKENS!  (Side note – I have wanted chickens for a few years now and I’m just waiting on Harrisonburg to change a few laws…)  This family was so easy to photograph!
