About the Be Thou My Vision Photography’s Studio
Hey there! I’m Jenny of Be Thou My Vision Photography. I am a Harrisonburg, Virginia, maternity, newborn, and family photographer passionate about my work. My life as a photographer allows me to enjoy all the privileges of being a mom and spending time behind the camera capturing special moments for other families in the area. I have extensive experience creating gorgeous snapshots that serve as cherished portraits in clients’ homes. A good cup of coffee, homeschooling, exploring nature, reading, and spending time outdoors are some of my favorite activities. But, of course, one of my biggest passions is photography.
I recently opened a photography studio and serve clients in the Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, and Winchester areas. But of course, the entire state of Virginia is welcome! My studio has everything clients need to feel right at home. We’ll be ready to take gorgeous photos together and create priceless memories you’ll cherish forever.

My photography studio is an excellent location for newborn, maternity, and family sessions. My studio is bright and airy, with comfortable, welcoming details to help all clients (even the littlest babies) feel at ease during photoshoots!
Newborn sessions include lots of natural light, soft pillows, drapery, and neutral-color blankets. Props include tiny beds, pillows, gauze wraps, and fluffy blankets. Family sessions can include immediate or extended family – why not include everyone in the photos to create lifelong memories of the people you cherish most? Maternity photoshoots in the studio are a great way to capture the joys and beauty of pregnancy, from the mother’s glow to her growing belly. Maternity photos are magical, capturing the special time in a mother’s life as she prepares to bring new life into the world.
