Winter Village In Old Town
Winter Village in Old Town transforms historic Old Town Winchester into a beautiful European holiday village! Their shops and restaurants will be decked out for the holidays, featuring traditional European food and craft vendors. On Saturday, December 9, join for a tented Santa’s Village area with elves, crafts, and Santa himself! Enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides, caroling, and a warm serving of classic gluhwein (or mulled wine) for the grown-ups!
Christmas In Princeton Holiday Lights Parade
The Holiday Lights Parade is a community celebration of the season that rewards creativity! The 2023 theme is “Reindeer Games,” featuring Christmas twists on year-round classics (think reindeer playing poker or penguins sliding down chutes and ladders.) There will be Best Float Awards with cash prizes! While you’re out and about, you can enjoy caroling, beautiful tree lighting, and complimentary hot chocolate and Christmas cookies.
Kid’s Christmas Market at Cedar Creek
Kids of all ages can enjoy the Kid’s Christmas Market at Cedar Creek! There will be a seasonal storytime with Mrs. Claus, arts and crafts, and lots of tasty holiday cheer with treats like hot chocolate and cookies. Plus, Elves from the North Pole will help kids find the perfect present for friends or family (of course, following any budget guidelines requested by accompanying grown-ups!) Help decorate the Christmas tree, check some shopping off your list, and have a merry time at this Winchester Christmas event.
Christmas Craft/Vendor Bazaar
The Christmas Craft/Vendor Bazaar is the perfect way to find just the right unique gift for everyone on your Christmas list. Shop with over 100 vendors and crafters gathered together to showcase and sell their original work. You’ll feel great supporting local artists and makers at this festive gathering. If shopping fuels your appetite, you can always grab a treat from the concession stand!
Christmas Makers Market
After a successful inaugural event last year, the Christmas Makers Market returns for a second year! Located at the Homestead Farm at Fruit Hill Orchard, this event will feature local vendors, delicious food, Sugar Shack hot cocoa and cookies, and plenty of other indulgences. Pick out your Christmas tree from their selection of fresh trees, or grab a wreath to adorn your front door. You never know – Santa himself just may make an appearance!
Light The World
Light the World is a celebration of music, art, and giving. This free Winchester Christmas event features carols, live music, and beautiful Nativity displays. You’ll be encouraged to spread a little extra holiday cheer by contributing to local charities helping those in need during this season of generosity. Then, be inspired by local artists who have created art inspired by the theme “Light the World.”
Christmas in the Valley
Christmas in the Valley has become an annual tradition for many Shenandoah Valley families! This drive-through event lets guests enjoy spectacular displays of Christmas lights from the comfort of their cars. Stop by the Christmas Village to check out their selection of Christmas treats, gifts, décor, and more!
